Technical development and plans.

More detailed process of development and plans.

Player is able to MOD data folder by just creating folder called Taboo inside data folder, and some of the inaccessable things will be unlocked.
For example: C:\Ancient World Gods and Men 1.7a_Data\Taboo

Technical things:
Please note, this is still mainly a PC game. Android version is just to expand availability, and to help with performance testing and bug searching.
-Redone item gaining, also works as actively as experience gain. Because a player commented he's not getting skins.
-Rebalanced enemies, experience. (this is an ongoing thing, as soon as more enemies are added).
-You cannot yet H-mode new characters in this update. *size differs and new animations are needed.
-New camera system for mobile needed to be created.

Game is built around 4:3 resoulutions(still black borders etc...), but will gradually adapt to 16:9.

*On a mobile, select circle to drag, instead of just dragging on screen to rotate camera for example is intended. As most of the character interactivity will directly be used
the same way, so camera needs to be fixed for that. Note that camera rotation and zooming are not yet perfect. Especially zooming.
Performance:
-Mobile game starts at lowest resolution to ease up on the system at start.
-Fire animations were disabled for the time being.
-Speech disabled for mobiles because it was simply too demanding performance wise. Alternative will be developed/animated.

*Started working towards android version as an alternative to PC. WebGL does not like this game. Laggy and dependant on browsers.
Reason why "press to display" features were added.
*As project grows much optimization is needed.
*Completed face meshes, before head and body worked on separate bones, now it's connected to whole body. Which means better animations and it's easier to work with. Also slowly adding more
detail on model bodies.
*Personality traits removed. Feature planned will probably be affected by loyalty and based on how you got the character instead of personality traits.
*Managed to bypass character saving. So no longer wipes. However your saved character might "change" some of its appearance from time to time.
Expecially when I update models. This does NOT apply for game resets due to some other major game mechanics changes.
*Face devided into 3 separate animations, eyes, eyebrows, mouth. Doing this makes it possible to make many different facial expressions without animating each separate.
example 1: Raised eyebrows + wide-open eyes + open mouth = surprised
example 2: Angry eyebrows + narrowed eyes + closed mouth = suspicious.. etc

*Rework current H-mode system, as you can see in 1.7 some positions have been moved from villa to combat aftermath.
Plan is to implement H-mode through dialogue rather then just selecting icons. As it adds soul to the game.
*As soon as I'm done modeling gladiator items, player will be able to face equipped opponents in arena for better rewards.
*Implement normal/romantic positions when you ask character to join you in villa. With progress dialogue or similar.
*Rework dungeon system to dungeon rooms you'll be able to "store" defeated characters.
*Begin to work on more encounters, implementing fantasy characters... Want to work with different sized modes.
*Brothel - like gladiator minigame, but with prostitutes and different demands from clients, etc...
